China is accused of spying on equipment made by the two brands. As a result, several countries have reacted and will ban the use of the two brands.

CIA, FBI and NSA chiefs have expressed distrust of Chinese manufacturers Huawei and ZTE, saying there is a high risk that they will steal information and engage in "undetected espionage".

The government is "very concerned" that certain foreign companies, "which do not share our values," may have access to the US telecommunications network, said FBI Director Chris Wray.

According to him, these companies are capable of "stealing information or modifying it in a malicious way". Wray also mentioned "undetected espionage" among the possible risks. In response to these statements, Huawei's spokesman said that the US Government is taking action to "hinder" Hui's activity in the US market.

Japan is the first country to express its intention to ban Huawei and ZTE equipment. Japanese products using components from the two Chinese companies will also be banned from the administration. However, Japan would not explicitly name the companies, so as not to provoke Beijing's anger.

THE COMPLETE ANNOUNCEMENT came on the last day of the year! What will happen in 2022 is absolutely awful: There will be a shock on April 1st. It will apply until March 31st! The bomb of the day for Romanian employees. The government has decided to strike a blow at Lidl and Kaufland. The giant that comes to Romania. He will face them

China said on Friday it was "deeply concerned" by the news, adding that Huawei and ZTE have been operating legally in Japan for a long time.

"We hope that Japan will offer Chinese companies present in the country a level playing field and do nothing that could undermine mutual trust and bilateral cooperation," said Geng Shuang, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Huawei suffered a blow with the arrest in Canada of its CFO and daughter of the founder, at the request of the United States, on December 1.

US authorities suspect that the Chinese giant has been exporting American products to Iran and other US-sanctioned countries since at least 2016, in violation of US law.
