Huawei: The Solution Found to Bypass US Sanctions

Huawei, one of the world's largest phone makers, has found a solution to circumvent US tough restrictions shortly after President Joe Biden signed an order that made them even stricter than they used to be. .

Huawei plans to license its smartphone designs to various third-party companies in order to gain access to state-of-the-art components to be used in their manufacture, and then to sell globally, as it did until 2019.

Huawei will give these third-party companies access to its designs so that those companies have the right to manufacture the phones and buy the components that Huawei cannot buy, and so the Chinese would continue to sell their devices.

Huawei is already working with a company known as XNova for the production and sale of phones called Nova, the devices being practically those of the Shenzen company, only they are sold under another brand just to be put up for sale.

"Huawei, whose smartphone business has been devastated by US sanctions, intends to license its phone models to third parties as a way to gain access to critical components. The technology giant in Shenzhen is considering licensing its projects to a state-owned China Post and Telecommunications Appliances (PTAC) unit, which will then try to buy banned parts from the Trump-era blacklist. ”

Huawei has found this solution to be able to continue to generate money from the phones it has developed based on very high costs, so we may see more and more devices from unknown companies that still have Huawei technologies.
