One of the symptom that raises certain question marks, the phones left to charge are permanently warm to the touch, as if connected to a fast charger.At the same time, the loading time seems to be shorter, even if the same 5W AC adapter is used.
By adding to the created discomfort, some of the affected devices display in the first phase a very high level of autonomy, just for the estimation to decrease suddenly.In some cases, restarting the phone causes the remaining autonomy, the percentage of the battery suddenly increasing without the phone being charged.
The problems manifested by the accelerated discharge of the battery/incorrect display of the charging level are manifested especially in the previous generations: iPhone XS, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S and the first generation IPhone SE, after updating to iOS 14.2.At the same time, IPAD Pro tablets, Generation 2018 are also affected.
Why is the phone download fast?Apparently, Apple does not know exactly, the revision of iOS 14.2.1 coming with the same bug.Probably an official patch will come in the coming days, or, at the latest with the IOS 14.3 update.
