Three out of ten Romanians are waiting for Black Friday to buy a phone, while 65% hope to take discounts between 10% and 50% on smartphones during this event, according to a study of Romanians with their phones made by IZI forFlip.en, Marketplace of used phones.
Better than half of the study respondents (56% of them) are willing to spend between 1.000 and 3.000 lei for a smartphone, in their preferences being iPhone.
Prices to IPhone used by Black Friday
- iPhone SE (prima generație) – 299 lei;
- iPhone XS – redus cu 500 lei, ajunge la 1.599 lei;
- iPhone 11 – 2.099 lei;
- iPhone 12 – 2.999 lei.
The study was conducted between September 22, 2021 - October 22, 2021, on a sample of 6.035 respondents, men and women, fENm urban and rural areas and has a sampling margin of 0.8%.
The survey watched the relationship that Romanians have with their phones, defaults the habits of buying these devices.

Flip.Ro was opened in 2019 by Alin Luca (22 years) and George MoENianu (25 years old).The two co-founders are not at the first business.
