After a period of time in the paid parking lots in the municipality of Suceava, the rules were no longer strictly applied, with the gradual return to normality, it was moved to fine those who "breach" this obligation, and new methods were implemented management of this service.

According to the regulations for the operation of paid parking lots, approved last year by the Suceava Local Council, parking in parking spaces without a parking ticket, without payment through card or SMS, or without valid subscription and identification; exceeding the stationary time; failure to display the ticket, subscription or identification inside the vehicle, as well as displaying them in conditions that do not allow the identification elements to be deciphered.
The paid parking lots can be used free of charge by the holders of the ID card for persons with disabilities (obtained from the town hall), as well as by the owners of electric vehicles, exceptions being formulated for public institutions and official delegations.
If self-tax machines or access barriers are found to be destroyed, fines vary between 1,000 and 3,000 lei.
The rates for the paid parking lots and the subscription options available
In the municipality of Suceava, the parking rate is 2 lei/hour for the above-ground parking lots, while for the underground, the rate is only 1 lei/hour.
Payment can be made as follows: cash at the parking meter, by SMS, with the bank card through the Suceava Parking application (where a commission is charged), available for free on Android and iOS.

Exclusively for surface parking lots - monthly subscriptions (08:00-16:00):
• 150 lei, one self-taxing zone;
• 200 lei, all self-taxing areas.
Exclusively for river residents, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., Saturday and Sunday in full:
• quarterly - 100 lei;
• semesters - 180 lei;
• annual - 350 lei.
