The W6500 is aimed at a younger audience, and can be worn in colorful cases, inspired by Nokia's Lumia range.

The phone has a 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 540x960 under which there is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. The internal storage is 4GB, expandable via microSD card, and the main camera is 8MP. The 2,400 mAh battery promises up to 13 hours of talk time and 10 hours of internet browsing.

Philips W6500 Xenium runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and can be purchased for 999 lei.

The W8510 aims a little higher, with a 4.7-inch screen with HD resolution. Inside we find the same technical specifications - 1.2 Ghz quad-core processor, 8MP camera and Android 4.2 - but the battery has a larger size that offers 18 hours of talk time and 10 hours of Internet browsing.

Philips W8510 Xenium costs 1199 lei.

The first impression of these models is a good one. Both move smoothly, and the W6500 has a nice design. Smartphones are well positioned in price and will soon become a mobile operator.

The W6500 and W8510 can also be used as a TV remote control to change channels and make settings via the preloaded MyRemote application. In addition, the smartphone allows owners to listen to their favorite songs directly on a Philips Smart TV, or play TV content on the smartphone screen.
