There are over 300,000 claims claimed, resulting from compulsory insurance in Romania every year. Each complaint involves bureaucratic procedures followed by a long wait by phone or by filling out online forms, becoming a demanding experience for all participants.

How to report damage to the insurer in the application,
MOVCAR also provides support in managing all car documents. Once the driver registers the documents, the application will automatically send notifications for the expiration date of the insurance, maintenance checks, availability of the rovinieta, 30 days before the expiration date. Also, the renewal of car documents, including the purchase of insurance, as well as damage management, roadside assistance or checking the vehicle history can be done in a few seconds directly from the application.
Through partnerships with A24assistance, MOVCAR users have access to towing services in Romania and abroad at preferential rates. MOVCAR users can also check the history of a car with CarVertical services. The application also allows users to manually enter any other information relevant to the safe driving and storage of vehicle documents.
We discussed online about the app and its developers' intentions with Mikolaj Ovcaric, CEO and Founder of MOVCAR. Mikolaj has been living in Romania for 8 years, working in the insurance industry in a multinational company. While working in the field, he came up with the idea to develop this application, because he noticed how rigid and cumbersome it is for users to interact with the big insurance companies.
