At the age of 18, without driving experience, a driver caused an accident on a county road in Dâmbovița.
The young woman told the police that, for a moment, she turned her gaze to the phone, at which point she drove in the other direction and hit a taxi.
Five people were injured in the crash, two of them in serious condition.
The 18-year-old girl is guilty of the accident that took place in Gura Ocniței commune, according to the first data. In a moment of inattention, the car driven in front reached the other direction, where it collided head-on with the taxi.

Following the strong impact, the driver remained trapped in the vehicle and the intervention of the firemen was needed. The girl was with a friend, and the driver and two women were in the crashed car. Adrian Șerban, commander of the Moreni Fire Department: "Four other victims were also injured. All five victims were transported to UPU Târgoviște."
The five victims, including two in serious condition, were taken by ambulance crews and transported to Târgoviște County Hospital for care and investigation.
The police have opened an investigation, and at the end of it they will establish exactly who is to blame for the accident.
